Start your calendar at 5 AM

The week view shows 5 AM to midnight, with a setting to display all 24 hours whenever you need them.

Focus on the daytime and evening

Google and Microsoft calendar week views now start at 5 AM and continue through midnight. The five early-morning hours are hidden by default, while all-day events stay in the day headings.

Meetings that cross 5 AM remain visible from that point onward. If a day has meetings entirely before 5 AM, select its before 5 AM link to show the full day and scroll to the early hours.

Show the full day when needed

Open Calendar settings using the gear in the calendar toolbar, then turn on Show all 24 hours. Turn it off to return to 5 AM through midnight. Your choice is remembered for your account in this browser and applies to both calendar providers.

This changes only the display. It does not change meeting times, calendar connections, invitations or your provider calendar. You can still choose an early-morning time when creating or editing a meeting.
