Connect Outlook Calendar to RecruitIQ

Connect your Microsoft calendar, review your week and schedule meetings alongside your existing Google Calendar connection.

Choose the calendar you use

Open Calendar, select Connect Calendar and choose Microsoft Calendar, identified by the Outlook logo. Sign in to Microsoft, check the account you selected and allow calendar access. Your administrator must first enable the Microsoft connection; some workplaces also require administrator approval.

You can keep Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar connected at the same time. Use the calendar menu above your week to switch between them or connect the other provider. Each view shows one account’s primary calendar. Events are not copied or combined between providers.

Review your week and schedule meetings

Your Outlook week includes timed events, all-day events and occurrences of recurring meetings. Times display in your browser’s timezone. Refresh Calendar or return to the page to load Microsoft’s current events; this is not instant background synchronization.

Choose New meeting to add a title, start and end times, checked guests, optional notes and an existing meeting link. Creating a meeting sends Outlook invitations to checked guests. Saving changes sends meeting updates; removing an existing guest removes them from the meeting.

RecruitIQ can edit basic timed, nonrecurring meetings that you organize. Open Outlook for recurring or all-day events, online meetings and meetings organized by someone else. To create a Teams meeting, use Outlook and then refresh RecruitIQ. Google Meet link creation remains available with Google Calendar.

Your connection and its boundaries

Outlook Calendar has its own connection. Connecting or disconnecting it does not change Talent Inbox or your Google Calendar connection. Open Settings, then Connected accounts, and choose Disconnect beside Microsoft Calendar to remove RecruitIQ’s saved calendar connection. This does not delete Microsoft events or revoke the application’s Microsoft consent; you can manage that consent in Microsoft’s account settings.

Your connected calendar is private to your account. Approved support access can connect or view the selected user’s calendar, while creating and editing meetings and disconnecting remain unavailable in support view.

Outlook support currently applies to the Calendar page. Adding interviews to your calendar from a candidate’s pipeline stage still uses Google Calendar. Secondary calendars, calendar merging, Teams link creation and automatic two-way synchronization are not included.
