External recruiters can now become internal team recruiters
Move a trusted external recruiter into the internal team without losing the submissions, agreement, or job history they already built.
Convert the existing recruiter record
Organization owners can open an external recruiter record and choose Convert to Internal Recruiter. After confirmation, the same account receives normal internal recruiter access and appears in Team & Roles; no second account or invitation is required.
The External Recruiters directory keeps the record and labels it Converted to Internal Recruiter so the earlier relationship remains clear.
Keep the work that already happened
Conversion does not rewrite or move the recruiter’s earlier submissions, candidate attribution, signed agreement, contact details, or recruiter-access job history. Those records remain available from the same external recruiter detail and contract views.
The signed external recruiter agreement remains a historical record of the external relationship. It does not limit the recruiter’s new internal CRM access.
Future access follows the internal role
After conversion, the recruiter signs in through the normal RecruitIQ workspace instead of the partner portal. Existing external recruiter signup links cannot change the account back to an external recruiter.
Conversion changes the account to the standard Recruiter role, not the organization Owner role. Owners can review the preserved external history, while current partner-only actions are no longer offered for the converted account.
