Manage your connected calendar and email accounts
Manage connected accounts and create or edit Microsoft calendar meetings directly in RecruitIQ.
Find every connection in Settings
Open Settings, then Connected accounts. Google Calendar, Microsoft Calendar, Gmail, and Microsoft Outlook email each have their own section with the connected address and available actions. Your RecruitIQ account is shown separately, because the address you sign in with can differ from the account you connect.
Choose Disconnect beside the address you want to remove and confirm the account. Disconnecting a calendar removes its connection from RecruitIQ while keeping your events, separate mailbox connection, and RecruitIQ sign-in. To switch accounts, choose Change Google account or Change Microsoft account and select the intended account during sign-in.
Create and edit Microsoft meetings
Choose Connect Microsoft Calendar and sign in to the Microsoft account whose primary calendar you want to use. Allow calendar access, then return to Calendar. Use the calendar provider choice to switch between your connected Google and Microsoft calendars.
Choose New meeting or a time slot, enter a name, start and end times, then choose Create meeting. You can add guests, Notes, and a Location or link. New Microsoft meetings are private. Checked guests receive Microsoft invitations; leaving the guest list empty sends no invitations.
Open a timed, nonrecurring meeting you organize to edit its details, then choose Save changes. Saving changes can send Microsoft updates to guests. All-day, recurring, other-organizer and online meetings stay in Outlook for editing. Add an existing Teams or other meeting URL using Location or link; automatic online meeting creation stays in Outlook. Google meeting scheduling and Google Meet keep their existing behavior.
An existing view-only Microsoft connection continues to show your week. Choose Enable meeting editing in Calendar or Settings, select the intended Microsoft account, and allow the additional permission before creating or changing meetings. No meeting is saved by upgrading permission. If a draft needs an upgrade, it is kept for up to ten minutes in the same browser for the same account. Retry same meeting preserves an uncertain save so retrying does not create another invitation.
Connecting Microsoft Calendar does not connect Outlook email or start a Talent Inbox scan. Only your primary calendar is available here; other calendars stay with your provider.
Keep email permissions separate
Manage Gmail sending opens the existing Gmail permission controls. Microsoft Outlook email connects a mailbox for Talent Inbox and does not enable Outlook sending. Connect the calendar separately when you want to see Microsoft events.
Disconnecting a mailbox stops RecruitIQ from using that connection; saved candidates, resumes, and notes are kept. Account connections and meetings can be changed by their owner while signed in as themselves. Switch User remains read only for meetings. Connection status reflects saved permission, not a live email-delivery or calendar-access test. A provider may require a fresh sign-in, consent, or administrator approval before connecting.
