Resume uploads can now fill candidate contact details

Upload a resume from a general candidate link and RecruitIQ will fill the contact fields it can identify before submission.

Start with the resume instead of retyping the basics

On a general candidate submission link, selecting a PDF, DOC, or DOCX resume now starts contact extraction automatically. RecruitIQ can fill the candidate’s first name, last name, email, phone, city, state, and ZIP when those details are available in the document.

A completion message asks the submitter to review the extracted information before sending it. Every field remains editable, and the required-fields checklist updates from the values actually present in the form.

Unclear resumes still have a manual path

Extraction is a convenience, not a submission requirement. If the resume cannot be read or does not contain reliable contact details, the selected file stays attached and the form explains that the information should be entered manually.

The upload continues to accept PDF, DOC, and DOCX files up to 10 MB. RecruitIQ does not guess missing contact details, and submitters should confirm every populated field before submitting the candidate.
